Welcome to my website!

I am an Economist in the Research Department at Banco de México, with a PhD in Economics from the University of Houston. My research interests lie at the intersection of International Trade, Development, and Labor Economics. I am particularly interested in how trade policies affect firm behavior, labor markets, and economic inequality.

Before starting my graduate studies, I worked at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) in Washington, DC, and at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Cali, Colombia.
